Long-Distance Movers: Moving services for customers relocating outside the local service area.
Commercial Movers: Moving services for businesses and commercial properties.
Residential Moving: Moving services for households and personal belongings.
Moving and Storage: Temporary storage services during the moving process.
3. Service Agreements
By booking a moving service, you enter into a binding agreement with Deland Movers. A written or verbal confirmation will be required for all services. Any additional services requested outside the original scope may result in extra charges.

4. Pricing and Payment

Quotes and Estimates: All pricing is provided in advance as a quote. The final price may vary based on actual services rendered, including factors like the number of hours worked, materials required, and additional services requested.
Payment Terms: Payment is due upon completion of the move, unless otherwise agreed upon. Accepted payment methods include credit card, debit card, and cash.
Cancellations: Cancellations must be made at least 48 hours prior to the scheduled move to avoid a cancellation fee. Late cancellations may incur a fee.
5. Responsibilities of Customers

Preparation: Customers are responsible for properly preparing their property for the move, including ensuring that all items are packed and accessible.
Accuracy: Customers must provide accurate details regarding the size, number, and nature of the items to be moved to ensure proper planning.
Property Access: Customers are responsible for ensuring that moving crews have access to both the pickup and delivery locations.
6. Deland Movers’ Responsibilities

Professional Services: We will provide trained professionals to handle your move with care, using appropriate equipment and vehicles.
Damaged or Lost Items: While we take great care in handling your belongings, Deland Movers is not liable for damage or loss of items unless caused by our negligence. Customers are encouraged to purchase insurance or review available protection options.
7. Liability Limitations
Deland Movers will not be held responsible for:

Indirect or Consequential Damages: Loss of profits, time, or property due to delays, damages, or lost items.
Non-Standard Items: We cannot be held responsible for damage to fragile, valuable, or hazardous items unless expressly agreed upon in writing.
8. Insurance and Claims

Coverage Options: We offer basic liability coverage for your belongings during the move. Additional insurance options are available at the customer’s discretion.
Filing Claims: In the event of damage or loss, claims must be filed within 7 days of the move. We will assess and respond to claims according to our insurance policy.
